So I’m sure by now you have seen that you can re-grow your celery in a dish of water — It has been all over the internet lately. Well, it turns out that it really works.
To try it yourself, just cut the bottom off of your used up celery and put it in a dish of water.
Within a couple of days you’ll see new growth.
Plant the growing celery in some dirt and you’ll be set.
You can also re-grow green onions, pineapple, ginger and potatoes! We are trying to re-grow ginger now and I grew potatoes by accident the last two years (in my compost). Just plant any potatoes that begin to grow in a couple inches of soil and before you know it they’ll be re-growing.
Have you tried to re-grow any of your food? Did it work?
Shut up I had no idea! 🙂 I have always done it with potatoes and green onions but never thought about celery, probably because I have had such horrible luck growing it in my garden in the first place. thank you!!!
NO WAY! That is awesome. I’m going to try that with my daughters. They are fascinated with growing things.
